DC Music Review Discusses Our “Jenny & The Gumps” show at Gypsy Sally’s!

Thanks to DC Music Review for this great article about our “Jenny & The Gumps” themed Halloween show at Gypsy Sally’s! This year we decided to play a bunch of songs from one our all time favorite movies, Forrest Gump! We had an absolute blast choosing songs and costumes for our Halloween run!

Will Urquhart of DC Music Review writes “All the covers seemed handpicked for DC, with calls for revolution in Jefferson Airplane‘s “Volunteers,” echoes of Trump in Creedence Clearwater Revival‘s “Fortunate Son,” anti-war tones in Buffalo Springfield‘s “For What It’s Worth,” and a shout-out to our weed legal district in Bob Dylan‘s “Rainy Day Woman #12 and 35.”

You can watch the entire performance here!

We also played “Jenny & The Gumps Themed shows in Wilkes-Barre, PA at the River Street Jazz Cafe,  in Roanoke, VA at Martin’s Downtown Halloween Block Party, and at Opus Underground in Salem, MA on Halloween night!
